Zenon Brooks
Assistant Principal
Mr. Brooks has dedicated an impressive 28 years of his life to the field of education, with a steadfast commitment that has spanned multiple schools and roles. His journey began in the fall of 1996 when he arrived in Las Vegas as a brand new teacher, starting out at Robinson Middle School. For the next 13 years, he continued to share his passion for teaching, working at several different institutions including Bridger Middle School, Chaparral High School, Del Sol High School, and eventually Foothill High School. It was during his time at Foothill High that Mr. Brooks truly demonstrated his versatility and leadership abilities, transitioning from a dedicated classroom teacher to taking on the role of Dean of Students. This shift allowed him to expand his impact, dedicating himself not only to his own students, but to supporting the entire school community - the staff, administration, and parents. During his 14th years in administration, he served at Western High School before arriving at Bob Miller Middle School in the fall of 2019. It was there that he was swiftly promoted to the position of Assistant Principal within that same school year, in January of 2020. As he begins his 29th year in education, he is looking forward to continuing to contribute, learn, and work with the outstanding Miller Bobcats families. In his spare time, Mr. Brooks relishes the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of his daily routine and indulge in his favorite leisurely pursuits, taking his boat out, the warmth of family bonding or spending time on the golf course.
